Hi, our names are Serena and Isabella and we are the co-founders and co-chapter leaders of Livingston CoderGals!
We wanted to get involved with CoderGals when we were the only two girls in our grade taking AP Computer Science last year. This really opened our eyes to the lack of girls in STEM, even in the 21st century. Through our fun lessons and mentorship with the students, we not only hope to instill a love for STEM at an early age, but we also hope to be role models for these young girls and show them that girls too, can code!
